When you write a guest blog post for Giving Birth with Confidence, the obvious benefit is helping families by providing your words and wisdom for this stage of life. In addition, guest blogging will benefit you too:

- Promotion across our social media — all blog posts are shared across our social media accounts and, when possible, we will link to your social media page
What to Write About
The content on Giving Birth with Confidence falls under five topic umbrellas:
- Safe & Healthy Birth
- The Pregnancy Experience
- Gear & Fashion
- Nutrition & Wellness
- Breastfeeding & Early Parenthood
We love “how to,” “guidelines for,” and “tips on” posts. We also really love personal stories. If you would like to write but are stuck on ideas, just ask! We are currently giving preference to pregnancy and birth stories of people who are in marginalized populations, as part of our goal to help amplify voices that are not regularly amplified.
Writing Guidelines
Giving Birth with Confidence publishes only evidence-based content. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Lamaze approach to birth before contacting us.
Please do not send posts or articles that sell your services or products.
Please include a brief bio and picture/headshot of yourself.
Provide only unique, previously unpublished content. If your post has been previously published elsewhere, please let us know. We may be able to grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Self-serving links should be restricted to your bio — there should be none in the main text of the post.
